February 2019 — Islip.TV is proud to announce that its national news division, NVJN was nominated for a New York EMMY® Award for its work on "FULL STEM AHEAD LONG ISLAND" series.
Spearheaded by LI STEMHUB, "Full Stem Ahead Long Island" informs Long Island students of the many STEM career opportunities in their communities. The goal is to encourage students to pursue a STEM career with the knowledge that they won't have to leave home in order to secure a great job.
The video series is produced by LI STEM HUB with HJMT Public Relations and Islip.TV
The first episode focuses on COMPOSITES. We showed how a military contractor and a surfboard manufacturer use the same technology.
